Two members of he RMAH-team participated in the American University of Beirut’s archaeological mission to Tyre (Lebanon) in the late summer of 2012. The excavations were conducted in a sector situated on the periphery of a Roman habitation quarter, near Tyre’s so-called “Egyptian Harbour” on the southern coast of the original island. The excavation area is dominated by a Phoenician temple of the Persian and Hellenistic Periods. (see also the video on the IAP youtube channel or directly on youtube)
